BootCamp

Well this Monday marked the first day of a new gym mom and I joined. We are going to the ''On Ramp'' [beginner classes] that are teaching us the different forms and techniques. Yesterday, after completing some basic squats our coach had us try a bar with 20lbs [while doing the squat]. Then we started in a on a 'simple' workout consisting of jump rope, pull-ups, push-ups, and squats. To help us keep it straight the coach wrote it on the board like this
100 jump rope
15-12-9
  Pull-ups
  Push-ups
  Squats
100 jump rope

That means after jumping 100 times you do 15-pullups/pushups/squats, then 12-pullups/pushups/squats, then 9-pullups/pushups/squats and finally jumping another 100 times with a rope. YIKES! Oh, and did I mention that it was timed???? I was able to complete in the allotted 12 minutes with some time to spare.

Tonight's class will be focusing on the arms and upper body. My hope is that we don't have to do pull-ups too since my arms are still a bit sore!
This is CrossFit

Sounds exciting! Haha. I'm sorry but I'm glad I'm not in that class with you.

Have fun, though,
