A Paper Gift

I just got a report back from the planning department. For those of you who aren't aware, we have been trying to get a upstairs office built in our 2000sq ft shop. After many months and headaches out the wazoo, I finally got the call. Our proposed plan has been approved. So last night while enjoying our company party meal I broke the news to all the members of congress, a.k.a. my family. I should be receiving the ''whatever'' document some time in the mail. I call it ''whatever'' cause I'm not sure exactly what it is. Regardless, this ''whatever'' will bolster my sagging feelings of the planning department and help the cause [of building] to further continue. For me this is the best Christmas present the State of Hawaii could give me.

P.S. Yes, I meant to put a picture of Roz from Monster's Inc. on here.
Why? Because.
Meet my planning department helper, literally.
[thanks mike and kim for the idea]

Congratulations on finally getting that approved! I can't imagine how frustrating it must've been. See you soon. ;)
