The day after.......

Well, yesterday was the BIG day. Kids started trickling in at 6 o'clock! From there, the mad rush ebbed and flowed like the ocean in winter. 400+ tracts found their way into many outstretched bags, hands, pillow cases or what have you. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice everyone was, even when we ran out candy. Yup, those 300+ bags found new homes in an hour and a half. Special thanks to: my sister for decorating so I didn't have to; Mom for supplying bags, candy, and her organizing skills to help me pack bags; and friends that came an hour away to help participate!

And now dear readers, I bid ado...I'll be leaving the islands on Friday and won't be back for a while. I'll be off in North Carolina having a blast with my cousins. Leaving reminds me of a little ditty that my parents always sang. Whenever one or all of us would go on a flight they would sing "Leaving on a jet plane....don't know when I'll be back again..." I finally searched the web and found the whole song. Thought you might like to hear it.

I was praying for your little mission field! I am sure those tracts are being read and seeds are being planted. :)
Hope you have a wonderful trip, Ellie!
